Hugh Jackman Is the Oscar Nominee with All the Right Moves – The Daily Swoon
Hugh Jackman is nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his performance in ‘Les Miserables,’ but he’s one actor that definitely doesn’t make us feel miserable.
We’re continuing our Oscar week edition of The Daily Swoon with Jackman, the Australian actor who can do it all: sing, dance, have incredible abs, and oh yeah, he can act, too.
His singing was on fire in the film adaptation of the musical ‘Les Miserables’ — so much so that it made us realize what a horrible singer Russell Crowe is. Jackman has acted in stage musicals, so he sort of had a leg up on most of his co-stars.
He’s also an action hero, and has kicked ass in ‘X-Men’ movies as Wolverine for years now, with a new Wolverine solo movie set to come out later this year. We’ve included a picture from that below so you can see that we weren’t lying about his incredible abs.
He’s also funny and charming, and we love seeing him on the big screen, and so does your mom, probably. That’s not a “your mom” joke — moms LOVE Hugh Jackman. Can’t get enough of the guy.
