Hi, My Name is Will and I Think I Might Like Korean Pop Music

So this just happened literally a week ago. I was watching a YouTube video of YouTube stars reacting to Korean Pop music or, as they call it, K-Pop. The most famous K-Pop song of all time right now is "Psy-Gangnum Style" and his other hit "Gentleman," but the thing is that there are literally hundreds of K-Pop bands and they are mostly boy bands and girl bands.

I was watching the video and found myself enjoying a couple of the songs, but I think what had me like the songs even more were the music videos. The videos for the songs are fantastic and have themes or story arcs, and they are absolutely ridiculous to watch, but are a lot of fun.

Two other things dumbfounded me. One, instead of having four to five guys in the boy band, there are usually between six to 12. Yeah, there are a lot of guys in a boy band in K-Pop. The second thing that I was most interested in is that their songs weave in and out of Korean and English like a weird jigsaw puzzle that you are trying to figure out. What they are saying?

Overall, I think K-Pop is fantastic and I am becoming a fan, and I hope you can too one day. I am going to put a video for one of the bands that I think is so much fun to watch below. The band is called BTS and the song is called "Dope." Let me know what you guys think of K-Pop!
