The "Overweight Lover" passed away suddenly yesterday.   Heav was respected in the hip hop world for a long career.  His big hits were in the 90s but he also wrote the theme song for the TV shows "In Living Color", "MadTV" and "The Tracy Morgan Show".  Heavy D also acted.  He had roles in the movies "Life", "The Cider House Rules", "Step Up" and the TV shows "Boston Public" and "Bones".  Most recently he played a courthouse guard in the new movie "Tower Heist" with Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller.
