When you think of Montana landmarks people might instantly think of Yellowstone and Glacier National Park or Flathead Lake or even the Berkeley Pit. Those are all great to go visit and check out the beautiful scenery but there is one landmark that everyone should go to and I even went to as a kid on a field trip.

MSN Lifestyle came out with a list of the Most Iconic Landmark in Each State and for Montana it's the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. This is of course the legendary spot of where George Custer and his 7th Calvary all perished and there have been multiple TV shows and films made about this but if you live in Montana and love history you need to check out this place.

It's gorgeous but also very haunting with what happened there. It's a piece of American history and gets taught every year to kids in schools. I just don't think Little Bighorn gets the recognition it deserves because we are in a state that has so much going on for it during the year whether it be summer or winter.

Check it out if you have a chance. To see the full list of every landmark go to MSN Lifestyle.
