Have Reality Shows Gone Too Far?

I will be the first to admit I love my reality shows. I religiously watch The Housewives of Atlanta, I love all the Rock of Love shows, for the Love of Ray-J, celebrity rehab and of course how can I forget the staple of all reality shows The Real World but I am beginning to wonder if they have gone to far.

The only reason I am even asking this is because just recently I saw a commercial for this new reality show where the brides are competing for a make over but this is no ordinary make over they are competing for complete plastic surgery make overs.
I personally think this is a little much and really what is it suppose to teaching us? That on one of your most important days instead of worry about putting the rest of your life and love into someone you should be concerned with a nose job, breast implants, liposuction and more. I am just surprised a station actually picked up this pitch and even more surprising they must think there is going to be a big enough audience. I was just shocked and truthfully kind of disappointed in such a reality show. It made me think and what to know what is your opinion??? Has reality shows gone too far???
