Gather ’round all you ghouls and ghosts, it’s that time of the year again. For one night and one night only you are allowed, nay, ENCOURAGED to be someone else! What will you be? Will you be something terrifying? Something seducing? Something nerdy? Whatever your disguise just make sure you wear pants this year; we don’t want a repeat trip to the hospital. Speaking of going places where will you be celebrating this Halloween? If you’re lost like a witch without a broom we have five recommendations to ensure you enjoy the night.

Downtown Trick or Treating
3-6pm on Monday, October 31. Enjoy safe evening of traditional trick of treating in downtown! So, parent’s let your kids enjoy the brisk outdoors for a little Halloween fun in Downtown Bozeman and gather goodies at over 125 businesses! Hot drinks will be available at the Downtown Visitor’s Center at 8 East Main Street. We will also have patrol cars and “safety sams” located at the intersections to help slow down traffic and make your experience as safe as possible! See you there! Click for more info.

Wear your best costume and create fake wounds, slime, and other digusting concoctions. Enjoy Halloween crafts, spooky Halloween stories, creepy crawlies from Montana Outdoor Science School and receive a treat bag.

The VOODOO bALL 2
Promising to be a monster dance fest, the second annual Voodoo Ball is happening October 29th at the Emerson Ballroom. This is an 18+ show so all of you young creeps can also cut a rug. The theme of the ball is Zombie Wonderland. Those fearful of the walking dead will be in a living nightmare full of props and gruesome dummies. DJ 4 Play and Rev. Chachi will be mixing the beats. When the clock strikes midnight, Bozeman Zombie Walk will put on Bozeman’s first ever Zombie Fashion Show. Don’t forget your cameras! Also, cash prizes will be awarded for Best, Most Original, and Sexiest costumes.
Boogie Bash 2
Come and get down for the second ever Boogie Bash at the Fillings Station in Bozeman. Costume prizes will be awarded to the best male and female costumes.

Downtown is always packed on halloween with everything from Homer Simpsons to scary monters. Many of the bars downtown will have live music as well to help get the party going and keep it going until late into the night.
Last year the Freakers Ball was held at the Zebra Cocktail lounge with Eightrack Mind headlining. This year promises to be just as great with DJ Blacklist, DJ MichaelAngelo, DJ Dodge, and DJ Mythix.

Museum of Terror
This very spooky haunted house returns for the third year on October 29th between 5-8pm at The Pioneer Museum of Bozeman located at 317 West Main Street. Is this the Gallatin Valley’s most terrifying haunted house? Stop by and find out if you dare! Admission to the haunted house is $5 per person, or $20 per family. All proceeds will benefit the Gallatin Historical Society & Pioneer Museum.
