‘Ghostbusters’ is Scary Fun

Suck it, haters.

There has been so much heat since this movie was announced that it had automatically had high expectations. Director Paul Feig did an amazing job with an stellar cast of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon (my personal favorite of the film) and Leslie Jones. Plus, a great performance by Chris Hemsworth as a beautiful, dumb guy.

This new Ghostbusters is visually stunning and the effects are fantastic. I had a great time watching the movie, but there were some faults. There were some jokes that fell flat and the ending was weird. I usually like Kirsten Wiig but she was a little unlikable to me. Nonetheless, this movie is a great starting point to reboot a beloved franchise, and I think they can only go up from here.
