Yesterday afternoon (April 24th) a woman led the Police on a high-speed car chase from a Bank, through Four Corners, Into the Gallatin Canyon and then back to Four Corners before she was finally stopped by crashing into the ditch after running over stop sticks laid in the road at the intersection of Gooch Hill and Huffine Lane.

27 year-old Brandi Hodgin of Billings is charged with two counts of criminal endangerment, one count of forgery and one count of theft by possession of stolen property.  She will be in court this morning to answer to the charges.

The incident started early Wednesday, with the report of a checkbook being stolen.  Hodgin then allegedly wrote checks from the stolen account, and a bank notified authorities. When officers arrived at the bank to investigate, the suspect fled the scene which led to the car chase.

Gwyneth Paltrow may be the most hated celebrity in Hollywood, but now she has a new title: the Most Beautiful Woman in the World.

The stunning, statuesque actress covered PEOPLE Magazine’s Most Beautiful issue (which coincides with her new cookbook and upcoming role as Pepper Potts in ‘Iron Man 3′).

Other beauties on the list include Kerry Washington, Amanda Seyfried, Zooey Deschanel, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Lawrence (duh), Kelly Rowland (who appears makeup free and still looks better than we do), Halle Berry (surprise!), Drew Barrymore and Pink.

Paltrow revealed that the Most Beautiful title isn’t one she’s accustomed to at home.

“Around the house, I’m in jeans and a T-shirt. I don’t really wear makeup. That’s what they’re used to,” she told the mag of her two kids, Apple, 8, and Moses, 7.

She said that her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, isn’t too used to it either. “He’ll make a joke about it. If I’ve gotten fully dressed up, he’ll be like, ‘Oh, wow! You’re Gwyneth Paltrow!’ Because he’s used to seeing me in like baggy shorts and frizzy hair.”

Despite not dolling up too much on her own, Paltrow, who recently came under fire for allegedly sexualizing children by shilling overpriced bikinis on Goop, revealed that her 8-year-old daughter loves mascara.

“When we’re home sometimes, she’ll put on mascara,” Paltrow said. “And sometimes I’ll let her wear something out to dinner — but just a little dab.”

While Apple may be getting a relatively early start with eye makeup, don’t worry: There are no daddy issues here to assure she’d get an early start with anything else. “Having a father who adores you the way that he adores her is very good for your body image,” Gwyn said. “The more we can love her and let her be who she is, the more confident she’ll feel.”

As for how she keeps herself looking good, Paltrow attributed everything, once again, to her trainer Tracy Anderson.

“[Working out] makes me look younger and feel strong. When I first started, I thought, ‘I’ll never be good at this. This is a nightmare!’” she lamented. “But now it’s like brushing my teeth, I just do it.”

Gwyneth was also named PEOPLE’s Best Dressed Woman back in September. If we had to guess, we’d say someone on the magazine’s editorial staff just might have a little crush on the blonde beauty.

Surveillance camera stills have been released of the suspects in the Boston bombing that occurred on Monday, April 15th. See the photos inside. The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals but asks to not approach them.

The FBI has named the suspects suspect 1 and suspect 2. Suspect 1 is seen in a BLACK hat, and suspect 2 is seen in a WHITE hat. Suspect 2 was seen dropping a bag before the bomb at the second bomb site exploded.

If you recognize either man or have any other information you feel might be helpful, the FBI has set up a website for you to share what you know: bostonmarathontips.fbi.gov. You can also call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Victoria’s Secret held its annual fashion show Wednesday night in New York, featuring its renowned Angels in all sorts of get-ups, many of which required very little actual fabric.

Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Miranda Kerr and many others hit the runway in outfits we won’t even bother trying to explain. The models were joined by Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber, who performed a few songs but generally stayed out of the way and let the ladies do their thing.

If you have not heard yet, the lovely ladies and winners of the 2012 Gallatin Valley Girl Contest have finished up the calendar and it is ready to be purchased. Last night, I was out at the Korner Klub just which is just one of the bars featured in the calendar. The calendar is going for $10 dollars a piece with the a portion of the proceeds going to the Montana Horse Sanctuary.   The girls were killing it last night, taking pictures and signing autographs. Don’t worry if you missed them last night you can catch up with them tonight out at the Broken Arrow in Manhattan!

I will be broadcasting with the ladies from 6-7:30 p.m.  so come out and grab yourself a drink, get a picture and an autograph with the ladies while getting your hands on the 2012 Budweiser Gallatin Valley Girl Calendar! Kick off the New Year right:)

Every year the new and returning students are welcomed back to the MSU campus with a huge party on the main mall of campus called Catapalloza.  Live music plays all day featuring Bozemans best talent. Tons of MSU clubs, activities and Bozeman businesses throw up a tent and give out tons of goodies to welcome and inform students of their business or activity. Wednesday through Friday of next week marks the 5th year KISS has set up shop, played some music, given out Pepsi and broadcast live from the wildly energetic campus.

For the past 3 years we’ve teamed up with Rocky Mountain Credit Union.  Headed by crazy man Larry Bauer, RMCU brings a huge amount of energy and entertainment via the  Mad Maze Mirror Game (a maze daring passers by to finish a maze only visible through a mirror).  We also provide lots of RMCU gear and info as well as Pepsi products kept ice cold via ice provided by The Ice House.

The energy that is flowing through the event is amazing.  If you have never been to Catapalooza, it’s a must see for sure.  It’s fun meeting all of the new students with their parents and also seeing familiar faces.  It’s a good reminder of the great place Bozeman is and that it’s largely due to Montana State and the great people it attracts.

Ashley Mills and myself (Chadwick) will be broadcasting, giving high fives, making new friends and just having fun Wednesday through Friday next week.  Please stop by and say hi!

Go Cats Go!

Last night the Gallatin Valley Cinemas was home to the Bozeman release and one thing is clear.  People love the Potter.  Every single screen in the movie plex was showing the film in either 3d or 2d and every single seat was bought and paid for before the doors even opened.  1300 in total.

Every character from the film was represented in costume last night from Harry to Voldemort.

Chadwick and Ashley showed up around 10pm to enjoy the party, play some music and hand out some delicious Rosauers donuts, hot chocolate and Dr. Pepper from Lehrkinds.

The crowd was all in good spirits until some rednecks (so they seemed to me) drove through a puddle splashing some of those waiting in line.  Some speeding cars drove irresponsibly fast through the parking lot but luckily no one was hurt and all made it into the theater for a good show.

The KISS crew were not part of the lucky 1300 to see the show but from what we’ve heard from those who did go, it sounds amazing.  I’m looking forward to seeing it and putting a bookend at the end of the Harry Potter era.

During one of the more serious parts of the night, which had many of the attendee’s in tears, a performer stripped off drag outfit including his fabulous hair, shimmery makeup, and elegant dress to reveal who was inside the disguise. All at the same time the performer’s mom was sitting front-row giving all of her support to her son.

Funds raised during the event went to the Montana Pride Network.

Townsquare Media held The first ever Budweiser Gallatin Valley Girl Contest last night. After six weeks of auditions, at various Bars around the Valley, The Stage was finally set for last nights Finals at Mixers in Downtown Bozeman. The Crowd was pumped with several patrons showing up hours early. By show time the bar was packed, and everyone was on their feet trying to catch a glimpse of the 15 finalist on stage.

With Round 1, we got to see all of the girls looking stunning in their Cocktail Dress attire. In Round 2, we held a mock photo shoot with the girls posing on our set in their swimsuits. These Girls really knew how to work it, and got the crowd going. In the Final Round of the night, the girls came out in their Western Attire wearing Tank Tops, Jean Shorts, Boots, and Cowgirl Hats. Each looking like a true Gallatin Valley Girl.

After the 3^rd and Final Round, the Judges handed in their score cards. The girls and crowd waited in anticipation as we summed the online votes along with the judges score. After 30 minutes of nail biting, the results were in. All of the finalists were brought back on the stage anxious for the results. Chadwick announced the TOP 3 Finalist for the 2012 Gallatin Valley Girl. First, Jennifer Kinville; Second, Kate Fontes; And Third, Amanda Caldwell.  All three remained on the stage  hugging each other as they waited nervously to hear who would be the first ever Gallatin Valley Girl.

The crowd was going crazy yelling and screaming for their favorites. Chadwick takes the mic, pauses, and a quietness comes over the hostile crowd…… “AND THE WINNER IS………. AMANDA CALDWELL!” The crowd went will and debauchery ensued.

Now that we’ve crowned our 2012 Budweiser Gallatin Valley Girl. You can look for Amanda, Jennifer,and Kate this Fall gracing the pages of the 2012 Gallatin Valley Girl Calendar.

The Calendars will be on sale at each of the bars we held auditions at.  The cover will feature a lovely photo of Amanda and throughout the calendar will be all three, Amanda, Kate and Jennifer posing in our featured Bozeman bars. The photos will be taken in the weeks to come at each of the Bars where we held our auditions at. We will release teaser photo’s for the Calendar on our websites in the months to come as well so stay tuned.

Amanda’s Grand Prize Package consist of the honor of being the Cover Girl of the Calendar, a cash prize, a Trip to Las Vegas, a 3 Month Membership to Planet Beach, and other perks and prizes through Townsquare Media and Budweiser. But lets not forget the main cause why we’re doing the calendar. And that’s to help out a great cause here locally in the Gallatin Valley. Amanda has chosen Eagle Mount as the local charity to get all of the proceeds from the calendar sales.

It could be Hurley’s performance that kicks off the show as she is starring in the pilot which will need to see a good response from the audience before NBC turns it into a full series. Not sure about you but we can’t wait to see Miss Hurley in the Villain role yet again.

TV Guide

Hurley’s deal is not official yet, TV Line reports, as there are still outstanding visa issues. But should it close, Hurley would play Veronica Cale, a scientist and businesswoman with a secret plan. The role was originally written as a one-time guest spot, but it could turn into a recurring part should the project get picked up.
