We didn’t get a collaborative mixtape from Drake and Future, but a video did pop up of the duo rapping onstage together in Toronto. On Friday (Sept. 11), the Atlanta rhymer was performing at Ryerson University’s orientation concert where he brought out the 6 God, himself.

While this may not be a big deal, this example of camaraderie could mean that a collaborative project from these two men is possible in the near future. See what we did there?

In the video, Future was performing “Where Ya At?” which prompted Drizzy to come out onstage to perform his verse. Then the OVO leader led the crowd into a sing-a-long of his Meek Mill diss track “Back to Back.” But he wasn’t done yet.

Drake had a surprise guest of his own for the hometown crowd. The "Hotline Bling" rapper brought out councilman Norm Kelly who issued a no-fly zone warning to Mill during the infamous rap battle. The two stood together with back to back with Kelly telling the crowd to "turn up."

Let's hope that Future and Drake's performance is a sign that an OVO x FBG mixtape is in the works.

Check out the videos.
