This past weekend I was watching the Winter X Games on ESPN, which have been held in Aspen, Colorado for the past several years.

It's understandable why Aspen has been the favored location. It's a historic, huge resort that typically gets a lot of snow. However, I think it's time for a change of scenery. How about the Winter X Games moves to Bozeman, using Big Sky Resort and Bridger Bowl?

Here are four reasons why this makes sense:

    Huge Ski Area

Especially at Big Sky Resort, there are massive areas to stage halfpipe and big air competitions. Could you imagine the Big Air Final in the Big Sky? That would be an awesome sight to see.

  • 2

One of the Best Snow/Ski Areas in America

Both Bridger and Big Sky have been getting more and  recognition as top notch ski and snowboard destinations during the winter.

    Change of Pace

Aspen is great, but it can also be very costly to visit. Southwest Montana is easier on the wallet and visitors can still take advantage of all the modern conveniences that Big Sky and Bozeman have to offer.

We Think Montana Is Just Better Than Colorado

Colorado is overrated and Montana is underrated. #406pride
