Montana State Football will have a new quarterback next year after former quarterback Dakota Prukop graduated early and decided to go to the University of Oregon and try his talents at a higher level of competition. This is an interesting choice, especially after Oregon used Eastern Washington quarterback Vernon Adams last year who was also a graduate transfer.

Well, according to a ESPN.com article, Dakota Prukop is the most important player for Oregon for the upcoming season. Oregon, who apparently can't recruit or develop their own quarterback can only get these graduate transfers to hopefully be successful. The upside for Prukop is that Oregon returns so many different play makers and has a few games to really get into the groove before any tough games.

The downside, though, is that he is in the Pac 12. This is one of the most competitive conferences in college football and is known for huge, fast defenses. This is going to be a huge learning curve for him and I can't wait to see how he does.
