MTV – Foo Fighter’s Wasting Light, hits the top spot thanks to sales of 235,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. The Foos lead a cavalcade of new faces in the top 10, with reunited bluegrass icons Alison Krauss & Union Station coming in at #3 with Paper Airplane (83,000), folk-rock icon Paul Simon debuting at #4 with So Beautiful or So What, (68,000) and Spanish rockers Mana at #5 with Drama Y Luz (47,000). British pop sensation Jessie J just missed out on a top 10 debut, sliding in at #11 with Who You Are, which sold 34,000 copies.
