The Gallatin Regional Park is heavily used by the Bozeman community throughout the year. This day of service allows residents an opportunity to show their appreciation for public lands and give back to the park. Public lands need a lot of maintenance work, but with the cooperative efforts of our community, we can improve one of Bozeman’s most popular parks in just one day.

Why volunteer on National Public Lands Day?

According to the National Environmental Education Foundation, National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands. In 2012, around 175,000 volunteers worked at 2,206 sites in every state of the U.S. to preserve and protect America’s natural heritage. NPLD educates Americans about the need for shared stewardship, builds partnerships within communities, and improves public lands while giving volunteers the opportunity to assist in hands-on work.

Montana Conservation Corps and REI hope you will join us for this celebration in Bozeman!
