Demi Lovato Not In For Drugs
While Demi Lovato continues her treatment at Timberline Knolls in Chicago, Illinois, her reps want to make it clear that the 18-year-old actress was not abusing alcohol or hooked on drugs before entering the low-key facility.
Her rep tells X17online:
"Demi Lovato is not in treatment for drug or alcohol addiction. As we have said since she entered treatment last week, Demi decided to seek help for emotional and physical issues she has battled throughout her life. She has taken this step in order to get her life in order. While we know many are interested in Demi and her life, we do ask for a modicum of privacy during this difficult time."
X17online broke the story yesterday that Lovato is receiving treatment at Timberline Knolls ... one of the leading residential treatment centers in the U.S. helping women with eating disorders, drug addiction, mood disorders and trauma.
No word on how long Demi will remain in treatment.
