Newly released dash cam videos posted to YouTube show the events of the night that a Billings police officer fatally shot a man last April.

A dash cam video from Officer Grant Morrison’s patrol car shows him yelling at a man to get out of a car. When the man refuses, Morrison fires shots into the car.

“Hands up! Hands up!” he yells.

In a coroner’s inquest, a jury decided Morrison was justified in the shooting of Richard Ramirez.

In a dash cam video taken from another officer’s patrol car, Morrison can be seen sobbing. The video below was posted to YouTube by VLAD TV.

“I thought he was going to pull a gun on me,” Morrison can be heard saying.
