While one would think Kim Kardashian’s speedy divorce from human prop Kris Humphries would provide stand-up comics with easy punchlines, comedian Rob Delaney is taking the news in an entirely different direction.

In a column he writes for Vice Magazine, Delaney declared that he will be suing Kardashian and others for forcing a sham wedding on the American public.

Delaney writes:

I wish to formally announce that I am suing Kim Kardashian to stop her divorce from Kris Humphries. I am also suing Ryan Seacrest, E! Entertainment Television, and Comcast for promoting their sham marriage, bilking advertisers, and polluting the airwaves of America and every other nation unfortunate enough to be subject to the disease of Kardashia.

Delaney, who insists he is serious about the suit, will be representing himself, and will seek $18 million, the amount Kardashian was allegedly paid to participate in her own wedding. You can follow Delenay’s impending legal adventures on his Twitter page.
