Canadian cutie Carly Rae Jepsen brought her sweet pop smash ‘Call Me Maybe’ to the ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ stage (and your TV screen) last night (June 7).

Like all guest singers, Jepsen took the stage during the show, bouncing up and down and engaging with the audience. But what most artists don’t get to do is perform “classroom” style with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots. Yep. CRP and et al also performed ‘Call Me Maybe’ with elementary school instruments, incorporating the xylophone, triangle, and various drums. They even got the recorder in at the bridge of the song!

Jepsen is so effervescent and she blossoms while she performs — on and off the stage. And speaking of her performance last night, she looked precious and fashionable in a sleeveless black mini dress, which she accessorized with gold heels and a gold tie. Her stylist, if indeed she has one, did a great job with this outfit. The song goes down easy on the radio and while being performed live on late night TV.

Judging from both performances, you can just tell that she looooooloves singing this song and knows she is cute as a button. But it’s never, ever cocky or obnoxious. We don’t know any boy who wouldn’t call her, definitely, upon receipt of her digits, that’s for sure.

Before she came into our lives, we missed her so bad. We missed her so, so bad. Special thanks to Justin Bieber for facilitating Carly Rae Jepsen’s entry into our world.
