Could K-pop super-group BTS be teaming up with Ed Sheeran for their next hit?

A recent tweet from Suga, one of seven members of the boy band, suggests yes. The musician tweeted a snapshot of a song composition titled "ED SHEERN [SIC] ST ROUGH." It was his caption that really got BTS fans going, however.

"Hmm... this is for you @edsheeran #SUGA," he tweeted alongside the image.

Almost immediately the band's mentions were flooded with excited fans trying to figure out what exactly is coming. Others simply wanted to express their excitement over the prospective collaboration.

"Are we really ready for this?? Edsheeran [SIC] are you Okey [SIC]?????" One fan replied.

Another tweeted, "Can't wait for it. So excited. Love you BTS."

"LIT LIT LIT WE HAVE A MASTERPIECE COMING OUR WAY," a third BTS Army member responded.

This isn't the first we've heard of a potential BTS-Ed Sheeran collaboration. Sheeran, 27, hinted that he might be working on something with the group during a November interview with Heat last month.

"I actually wrote a song that I think they might be messing with. I heard this the other day. But year, I don't know. I really like BTS, though. I think they're great," he said.

No further information about the collaboration has been revealed. It's unclear when it will be released and in what capacity BTS and Sheeran collaborated on the musical effort. Fans will just have to wait and see.
