The following information is courtesy of the Bozeman Police Department:

On September 11, 2018, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Bozeman Police officers responded to a report off an assault on a Middle Eastern male in the area of 13th Avenue and Koch Street, Bozeman. While the male victim was walking home he was approached by four Caucasian males. The males began to attack the victim and attempt to forcibly remove personal property from him. The suspects subsequently fled on foot.

The victim was able to provide a description of one of the suspects as a Caucasian male, approximately six feet in height, slender build with purple hair.

No other persons were injured because of the assault and this appears to be an isolated incident.
