Big Sky Resort to Open on Thanksgiving Day
We’ve all seen the pictures of Lone Mountain covered in a nice layer of snow floating around on Facebook already. You won’t have to wait much longer to make some turns on that beautiful piece of rock.
According to BigSkyResort.com, they’ll be opening for the season on Thanksgiving Day, which is November 24th.
At the moment, Big Sky Resort is closed for skiing and all recreational activities. Please keep in mind that all activities and unauthorized people on the mountain are prohibited until the resort opens on November 24th. (This is Big Sky Resort policy, as found on their website.)
We will reopen for winter activities on November 24, 2016, and remain open through April 16, 2017. Madison Base Area planned opening is mid-December.
Trespassing laws will be strictly enforced. Snow is accumulating on Lone Peak and we’re looking forward to opening day.
