If you are going to use Beyoncé’s name you better get permission first. The R&B superstar slapped a Brooklyn, N.Y.-based brewery with a cease and desist letter over a handcrafted beer inspired by Queen Bey, herself.

According to Pitchfork, the brewery made a pilsner, which is a strong lager beer, called Bïeryoncé. Their first-run of the batch was an immediate hit, but now the production on the beer has completely stopped.

“As a Hispanic, female run business, I am very inspired by her so I thought I’d pay homage,” said Katarina Martinez who was inspired to make the beer after missing one of Beyoncé's concerts.

“We’re disappointed she didn’t take it as a compliment, but oh well," she continued. "It was fun while it lasted!”

Reps for Beyoncé had no comment on the matter. Since we can't sip it, here's a look at the canned beer below.
