Looking for a few new ideas in the kitchen? Soon, you might be able to pick up some tips from Beyoncé.

Britain’s Daily Mirror reports that the pop megastar, apparently inspired by her friend Gwyneth Paltrow’s recently released cookbook, has started making plans to publish one of her own — with a soul food twist.

According to a source who spoke to the paper, “[Beyoncé's] mom, Tina, started the tradition whereby anywhere in the world they are, she always puts on a soul food spread of collard greens, cornbread, mac ’n’ cheese and fried chicken. Bey would love to include these family recipes in a book.”

It’s a bit of a brave step for someone who once referred to herself as “a disaster in the kitchen,” but hey — if Sheryl Crow can release a cookbook, why not Beyoncé?
