The fire is believed to have been ignited by a thunderstorm on Wednesday afternoon south of Emigrant Peak in Paradise Valley south of Livingston, MT. The fire is approximately 30 acres as of 7pm on Sunday.

Authorities say a man escaped this morning around 11:00am from the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge. Dean Randolph Jess, 42, escaped while on a service call for Motor Vehicle Maintenance. The vehicle he escaped in was found abandoned on the southern perimeter of the prison ranch
One person is dead after a collision around 5:30pm tonight on Valley Center road near I-90. The Montana Highway Patrol confirms that there was a head on crash, and the person driving a small compact car was killed. Four people were in the other vehicle, a red pickup truck, and were all taken to the hospital, including two children.
One female was sent to the hospital this afternoon after a dump truck and a car collided at the intersection of Cameron Bridge Road and Jackrabbit Lane. The car was traveling east on Cameron Bridge Road and ran a stop sign, was hit by the dump truck, then rolled before coming to a stop
26 year-old Arrow Seifert has been identified as the driver of a fatal crash over the weekend. He was on the frontage road between Belgrade and Manhattan, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed. The Highway Patrol said he passed away at the scene, and speed was a factor.
11:36am - A 13-year-old found a dead body last night (Tuesday) in Bozeman Creek off of South Church. There are not many details as of yet, but police say it was an older man.
