‘Alien: Covenant’ is Brutal but Very Messy
I still have so many questions.
Alien: Covenant is the next film in the Alien franchise that takes place before the original Alien film, which came out in 1979. This film takes place about 10 years after Prometheus and sort of answers questions about what happened at the end of that movie but not really. This film focuses on a group of colonists traveling to a new world to create a new civilization. The film has an outstanding cast with Katherine Waterson, Danny McBride, Billy Crudup, Michael Fassbender (as a new model of android called Walter) and so many more.
The film is rated R for a reason. It’s bloody and crazy violent. Exactly what you want from an Alien film. There are some great laughs and very intense scenes. The biggest problem I have with this movie is that this still doesn’t answer any questions that we were left with Prometheus and the ending was a real kick in the face. On the other hand, it was more exciting and entertaining than Prometheus.
Review: 3.5/5 Facehuggers, if you are an Alien fan you will enjoy this movie.
