Alexander Skarsgard of ‘True Blood’ Is Bitingly Handsome – The Daily Swoon
We are starting to go through ‘True Blood‘ withdrawals around here, so allow us a moment to appreciate the handsomeness that is Alexander Skarsgard.
On ‘True Blood,’ he plays Eric Northman, a Nordic vampire who is super attractive and super cocky, and he has a thing for Sookie because everyone does, and it’s really annoying.
Anyway, he spends most of his time on the show in sexy clothes or naked, which is okay by us. The Swedish (that explains so much) Skarsgard comes from an acting family — his father is the great Stellan Skarsgard. And Alexander wasn’t raised in some posh environment, either; his father and mother raised their family in a working class neighborhood in Sweden so they could learn the value of hard work and stay honest.
Alexander has also starred in the HBO series ‘Generation Kill’ and the ‘Straw Dogs’ remake from a couple of years ago. He is ridiculously tall at 6’4″ and has the face (and body) of a Nordic statue. In fact, his body is so amazing that just looking at it will probably make you burn, like, half the calories from your breakfast.
