‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Netflix Series is Picking up Steam

One of my favorite movies growing up and it's still entertaining to watch to this day is 'Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events' which came out in 2004 and starred Jim Carrey as the villain Count Olaf plus it had Jude Law and Meryl Streep too in the film. The film is bizarre and shows Carrey's talents in full and how great he is. The film didn't do well enough to spawn a sequel and the property was in limbo for quite a while.

Now we don't have to wait. Netflix got the rights to these books and going full steam into getting this made into a series that will benefit the books. The have most of the cast all ready to go with Neil Patrick Harris(How I Met Your Mother) as Count Olaf, this is a great choice and I can't wait to see it.
