$10M Medical Center Being Built in Belgrade

Ground will be broken next week on a new $10 million medical center in Belgrade.

Bozeman Deaconess Health Services will break ground on the Belgrade Medical Campus near the intersection of Jackrabbit Lane and Alaska Frontage Road on Wednesday, July 15 at noon, it announced on its website on Wednesday, July 8.

The facility will include space for 20 medical providers of family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and specialty clinics, as well as laboratory services, imaging and urgent care services. Bozeman Deaconess Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at Belgrade and Bozeman Deaconess Belgrade Clinic will relocate into the facility when it is completed, according to BDHS.

The site is well positioned to serve the local Belgrade community, northwestern Gallatin County, as well as tourists, with easy access from Interstate 90, BDHS said in the release.

“The two-story structure will contain approximately 37,000 square feet, with about 2,000 square feet of ‘shelled space’ for future expansion without required new construction. Total cost for the new building is estimated at just over $10 million,” the announcement states.

Once ground is broken, excavation and construction is expected to take about a year, with the new facility operational in summer of 2016.

The business community and public are invited to celebrate the groundbreaking. Lunch refreshments will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the official ceremony taking place at noon.
